We came 2nd last season and we've really added quality

I'm very optimistic for this year.

We have improved our first team and squad and even got the unicorn Striker! If we buy Eze wow! Great window and we will again be right in the mix. Chelsea have spent tons improving their team and squad and so have City but Pool have outspent everyone and if they get Isak ( who may just may have never wanted to join us but wanted to join the champions for whatever reason - so I don`t blame our transfer team as some will do) surely they are the favourites. But we are stronger and I think it is in Europe where all these teams will have improved their chances. It`s 3 points per game and 11 v 11 and we still will have the best defence I feel so in those close games hopefully Viktor makes the difference. Isak has gone let`s get behind Viktor! Can`t see any top 4 other than us Pool C£ty and Chelski. As always going to be a rollercoaster but in my head Pool are favourites but my heart always says we will win it until we can`t. Behind them 100% Come On The Arsenal COYG.

Good to see DG following in your footsteps - yes I am picking at our window because the striker should have been here ages ago and even 2 seasons ago. They would have to be idiots to not buy.

Liverpool have strengthened and it will be tough - so if my wish is we win the league then yes we need a blinder of a window. Sorry Noni isn’t part of a blinder but is a great signing if we add a star player - why’s that unreasonable. You were happy with Kai - is that the standard you want? Is Isak a smaller risk than Gyokeres? Partey left so we had to replace.

Anyway… yes Mal the start of a season is always exciting and think I said that already numerous times and that we’ve had a decent window but we really need a game changer / star to close the gap. I’d like a change in captain and tactics also. Haven’t think we will do and we have played some great football under Arteta and you have to think Gyokeres will demand the ball quicker. I’m excited but will be a load more excited if we get that special player that a epl champion needs in my opinion. Don’t know if that’s Eze but we need it and a proper LW solution so we aren’t easy to defend against / predictable.

Hi Eden, hope you are well and excited for the season. Not obsessed but really would like a change:
1. Free Ode up to get further forward and concentrate on his game and getting the ball forward faster
2. I don’t think he’s a leader like Adams. He’s like having Ozil as captain. Don’t believe he addresses performances / tactics but there are two clear players who show grit, determination, heart on sleeve and the balls to tell players off as well as changing the direction of play by a tackle, a run, a header or a genuine roar. That’s not him and I think it impacts us in big tight games or when we aren’t turning up.

Like the guy but not as captain - Rice running the length of the pitch to win a slide tackle or score a goal or Gabs doing a superb block geeing us up or powering a header in or charging up field with the ball Adams like - does it for me from a captain. Like Paddy or even Terry.

You don't half waffle the same bollox but that's what we've come to love about you.

I'm super excited about next season, we have had a super transfer window so far and there's more to come just need to off load some players first.

So stop with the bollox because I believe we will be on the champagne supanova come next may.

I’m excited too bud. Hope you are right about a superstar signing as I think we need that something special especially if Isak joins Liverpool. Noni can’t be the “great special winger we needed” that’s as exciting as Kai when we needed a striker. However, a decent squad addition.

Looking forward to seeing us lift our style this year and go for the wins with attacking football.

Yes - we’ve had a decent window but the club owed us a striker so that’s paying their debt in my book. So they owe us a star attacker. That’s just me.
