Maybe I`m too optimistic. We beat C£ty 5-1 and the only change in the team is in one position ( I am assuming Nwaneri and Martinelli are fairly close in ability) and that is Kai. That then must give us a chance in most games especially as he is awful apparently - seriously guys the disrespect he gets has been breathtaking! Our keeper defence and midfield are pretty good. This was the first game without the front four and we will learn and get better. Late winners always give belief. Let`s keep the pressure on, learn to play a different way and let Mikel Wright score some goals. I`ve never thought the title race was done. Still in it COYG Injuries - not an excuse.

Merino " if they want me play striker I will play striker, if they want me play in goal I'll play in goal ". We maybe short in player numbers but we are not short in players willing to play their part for the team.

Noone will ever believe me now, but I was thinking last night that we should start Merino upfront - he's looked dangerous from crosses since he arrived.

I hope we give him another shot after today, so calm and composed for both finishes.
