Good game unfortunately we drew and dropped points. They are a well organised bunch. If we look at other results they have had shows how strong they are. Unfortunate not to get the offside but its swings and roundabouts. Personally I don't think Nketiah is quite ready for first team starter. Has been very lucky so far. A lot of potential but needs to do a lot better.

Hi G4, I agree Eddie isn't the finished article but he's our second choice striker for a reason and it's extremely difficult to play your best 11 consistently when you have two first choice strikers.

When Jesus was injured many feared we'd fall apart without him but we've actually coped really well without our main man.

Just like to add about the car decision, it was shocking not to draw lines across to check for offside, also I couldn't believe Chelsea didn't get a penalty for a handball yesterday and if you are a rugby fan like I am, One of Ireland's tries yesterday should have clearly been ruled out.
So var had another bad day at the office.
Apart from that, confident we can beat City on Wednesday and a great chance for us to win the title.

Not sure why it’s a surprise that Eddie is struggling a little as he’s not a top EPL striker yet and we decided that he was enough to get by. He may turn out to be great but right here and now we have taken a risk. I like him but he wouldn’t be a starter week in and out for me. The unlucky thing is Martinelli is poor at present and we’ve come up against two really motivated teams thst have exposed us. We’ve made just 14 changes all season which screams a small squad and no other team this far ahead in league would be negligent enough to risk the squad for the second half of the season with Partey injury concern at time and Jesus out.

I personally believe our consistently playing a settled best available 11 has been the most important ingredients in our unbelievable upturn in fortunes this season, during the days of rotation rotation rotation and worse still players taking it in turns to play in order to keep everyone happy we were soft and lacked fight commitment and passion but with every player fighting to stay in the best 11 we are once again a genuine title contending force, coincidence? Not for me personally it isn't.

The swings and roundabouts argument doesn’t work now unless you think Arsenal will be awarded a winning goal which is offside and VAR forget to draw the lines as that is exactly what happened with the assist to Brentford goal.

Absolutely right Rogedavi mate that is most important that we bounce back but what I find hard to take that the VAR was 200% wrong and at the end of the season this mistakes by a incompetence official could cost us big time.

100% davi, people have a tenancy to remember the bad things that go against there personal wishes and dreams yet totally take for granted and quickly forget all the good things that go there way.

The one speeding ticket they actually did get sticks in their memory long after the hundreds of times they broke the speed limit and got away with it has long been forgotten A victim mentality makes for an unhappy life .

I enjoy your replies to the posts on this page because I could never think of a thing like that as I am not that clever. I ranted over the Var because it's the frustration of not taking the 3 pts due to a fair part on us not playing well, so in that respect but the Var didn't help .

The whatever remark was stupid of me, I was grumpy after being up all night watching the Superbowl, I should have waited till I had my boiled eggs and marmite soldiers on toast. So no need for apologies 62,and Ed hope the wife is still being an absolute star.
