It will demonstrate the level of intent to win trophies between us and Liverpool. We apparently want him and he prefers us but it’s a stack of money but if you want to win you need to be at the grown up table. LFC getting him and us going for Noni isn’t great. Thought we were after Gyok, Rod and Eze. Let’s see…. really hope we do t miss out on either because we got Noni. Chelsea but live us as neighbours - Noni and Kai > 115m in their bank. ? that plus a Trossard sale is Isak money….

SY slating the club for allegedly trying to sign a winger because he predominantly plays on the right whilst simultaneously slating the club for failing to sign another winger who predominantly plays on the right is classic.

Ed001- thanks for clearing that up. I do put myself out there to be shot at as I struggle with how they have failed to capitalise on the league in past few years and lacked ambition / conviction in the market place. If you put it out there you expect a bit back especially from certain people who think Arteta is perfect. Anyway - shame about Noni but glad we have a striker now and to be fair Noni does carry the ball forward quite well. Just need a LW and CAM now. Fingers crossed as City and Liverpool will be stronger. ?.

What intent exactly have Liverpool shown that we aren’t showing. They couldn’t get near us the previous two seasons and never beat us last even though we were off form and under strength.

You spoke of Vieira, Henry, Anelka and Bergkamp, as signings that showed intent.

None of them were stars until they joined us.

You talk like we play the worst football imaginable and simply base it off a poorer 24/25.

You think a player like Oshimen is the striker to go for, I wonder why no one else has touched him with a barge pole.

You constantly say Arteta needs coaches to challenge him or speak up, do you never constantly see them talking on the touch line or one of the coaches shouting instructions from the side line.

Really mate, I didnt know you I’d say you’d literally never watched football before, knowing that’s not true, it’s just how you come across.

You talk about PSG as though they were something special, the same PSG currently getting their proverbial arses handed to them on plate by Chelsea.

We’ve signed a striker with some pedigree in Portugal which is great news. Hopefully he does well. Do you know why we switched from our 1st choice?

When we all discussed wingers - how many said we needed a RW and Noni would be 50m well spent? If we added that to what we paid for Gyökeres, could we have gotten our first choice or was he our first choice? I was tired of us not getting the striker deal done. How many of the big boys are after Gyokeres? Who was after Noni? Vierra, Pires, Henry and DB10 we’re still being chased by other clubs and had high expectations. Yes they were gambles but you can’t use Wenger’s worst window as a comparison was my poorly made point.

You are right about Oshimen - but not many people chasing Our new signing. My main point was test Newcastle with a £130m bid and use the Noni money better. Or one of the other strikers I was asked to list. We know we blew it the last few years and we really need a LW so spend big. Don’t waste money on a RW with a poor attitude. Doesn’t that make sense….

It looked like we meant business with the players we were being linked with and discussing on here. Only to pull out of our Sesko deal and start talking @bout Noni. It’s frustrating.

I’ll be fine and am fine. I co e from a world where by you are only as good as your last season - we are meant to be improving year over year. We regressed in our style and attack terribly. I know we were better the two seasons before but at th3 heart Arteta still blew it by not addressing the squad and being afraid of losing rather than wanting to win games at the business end of the season.

So PSG didn’t play an awe some game in the Euros final? Every player wanting to play the ball forward and fast Vs slow and sideways.

I’d say someone should be asking Arteta why we aren’t subbing Ode or playing the ball forward faster. Shouting from the sides isn’t what I’m on about. If anything they shout at players too much - Martinelli looks #vared to make a mistake and a shadow of his former self. At the FA Cup final you could hear Arteta shouting ridiculous amount of instruction and on the Amazon show. Who is telling him to take Saka off as it’s pointless game and he’s knackered.

I am negative on the club as we’ve blown the league in last 3 years and need to do something different. I’m pleased with the midfield and defence. Need to address attack and tactics. Is that really not about right§

Thanks for the time you took to reply and concern and feedback. I’m good and yes a little negative but we need to up our game to get a trophy. No trophy no point in spending the money or having that big stadium with the trophy banner around the ground. No point having players who want to win.

New captain, new tactics and more attack - then I’m 100% positive as I was for most of Wenger’s reign.

Thanks Ed - hope so. I’m just over zealous about making the changes and i'd rather over sign quality / number of attackers to ensure we are good. Coming from a good place just explain it in a rubbish way. The Arteta is Perg3ct brigade wind me up as he’s blown the league although I get it thst we are only there because of him. Enjoy your Sunday and thanks again.

I will be looking for happiness this year and enjoying our style of play. If that’s the case you will probably be pxssed with me for being too positive
