I wondered if there had been any gossip on what would be the biggest transfer of all, that of a new manager.
I would be interested to know if he still maintains full support of the board or whether there are elements who want him gone.
Certainly the transfer policy in the window seems to be an epic fail! Who gets the blame for that? Wenger or the board?

There is no gossip, the team is fine and Wenger is going to turn things around like he always does.

The main blame on the transfer window goes to you for judging too soon.. patience son.

Is there any foundation in the Arsenal transfer ban story coming out of Spain?

Mark from Aylesbury

{Ed002's Note - It is a little convoluted and rather old news dating back to the Spring. However, FIFA has found two more clubs culpable of abusing the regulations regarding the transfer of minors - both clubs have had two window bans identified as punishment but neither have had the band imposed just yet. One of those clubs offered to voluntarily take a one window ban but that was not accepted. Additionally, a larger number of clubs (double figures) have been identified as potentially falling foul of the same regulations but investigations are now on hold. This larger number does include Arsenal and Chelsea but neither has been asked to defend their position at this time. The only clubs initially investigated were those in the Champions League two years ago - FIFA will have to decide whether to extend the investigation or look to an alternate solution. For now, it should not be a concern for Arsenal.}

Ed025- during my work I spoke to a guy who has some player links and he said we have him for 1 more season. Couldn't question him more as had a transaction to do / wrong time etc. What makes you so sure it is happening? Have he and the board agreed it? On a negative side will this leave us with a dead duck manager. For me better to rid this season end but at least it appears change is finally coming.

{Ed025's Note - he wanted to go at the end of the season mark but was persuaded to stay for another year, the process has started to find his replacement but who that will be is uncertain at this time, the board want time to make sure they get the right man and i imagine arsene will be part of that process mate..

I got panned last week for asking if there was any rumour of Wenger going particularly when I questioned the transfer policy.
The big difference is that now the journo's are finally giving him a proper inquisition. They are smelling blood. So Wenger knows he will get a hard time, see the recent as useless performance to the press.
At some point maybe even due to the divorce I reckon he will look himself in the mirror and see what a failure and shell of a man he once was
