Perfect response from weds night. People questioning us, but we've responded perfectly at a midlands away game, while city didn't at a midlands away game.

No matter where we finish, I'm so impressed by this squad/ management team/ fans etc. it just feels great again. We might rue jesus injury, and feel nketiah not at required standard, but, he's more than contributed, and pretty much everyone on this site would love to have his talent.

He gives 100%, and while might not be enough, i'd rather have his commitment than someone with more ability that just sulks (aubameyang. ozil etc)

{Ed014's Note - totally agree mate and Jesus isn’t to far away and ESR and Nelson now back fit so in reality we can only get stronger.

Partey wasn’t far off being fit for this game either.

I just think back to 97/ 98, and although not by any means the best forward, without Christopher wreh goals, we might not of won league. He only scored 3 or 4 i think, but, he contributed. that's what a squad is for. Might nit have the ability of the injured player you're replacing, but, if you show 100% commitment, that's priceless.

{Ed014's Note - totally agree mate and Eddies done pretty well but Jesus has a better overall game and causes defences nightmares and our mids we’re scoring more freely.

Absolutely Sally, being involved in a nip and tuck title race is an emotional roller coaster ride and it's also a wonderful privilege to be part of it. Enjoy the highs accept the dips and hold tight, there's plenty thrills and spills time comes yet I'm sure ????.

Great result today. As you say Sally can go 5 points clear with winning game in hand almost as you were before Wednesday where ‘ that’s it it was fun while it lasted ‘etc etc. There just are no easy games! Just ask Chelsea and City. We didn’t deserve to win against Brentford but needed a bit of luck to win today - a game we deserved to win. It’s a rollercoaster and it’s going to be fun and agony in equal measure! COYG

Hey Rogie thanks mate, how much do you fans and the Forest board deserve your brilliant turn around since your early struggles in the premier league this season.

Most clubs and fans would have panicked and turned on Steve Cooper early doors when you looked pretty much doomed to return to the championship after one season, but your club showed real class in proving how much they trusted the man who brought you up by extending his contract ?
