They will apparently buy next year - over spent this window or something.

Why are Monaco loaning Mbappe?
Sometimes these loans are the way forward for some reason, I don't understand then fully but the clubs seem to.
Mustafi obviously wants out badly so it's for the best although why we let Gabriel go too is difficult to understand.
The problems at club are many mate I think we need to concentrate more on possible solutions rather simply catalogue all the problems.

91 I'm not on about their situation, I'm on about ours.

Since Dein and Fiszman departed our negotiations have been hopeless and I believe Wenger is a major problem. It is absolutely absurd that we signed Mustafi for £35m last season and this season all we can do is loan him out presumably it is because he stood up to Wenger. The same guy goes for Perez, why on earth did we sign him and rarely play him and when he played he did well, then we try to sell him. Why are so many players on short deals and why are so many players on long over paid deals? It's a mess and Wenger has to go.

Gunner62 - these loans are sometimes used to defer payment until the following season but n order to comply with FFP regulations. Sometimes teams can't afford the players transfer fees, but can pay a loan fee and cover their wages. In Mustafis case Mbappe these are likely to be the reasons for initial loan deals. Musta Di has clearly fallen out with Wenger and hence he is being shipped out. We appear to be desperately trying to tie up a replacement. Both Van Dyke and Evans have been mentioned.

PSG can't afford it this year so Monaco will help them out with a try before you buy 😂.

RG, a lot of the time when you comment, you mention your 'belief' in whatever it is that you are saying - 'I believe Wenger is a major problem' - Wenger has little to nothing to do with the contract negotiations, it is handled by the team behind the scenes.

The players may ultimately tell AW 'look I really don't want to sign' - but if you think he handles the day to day workings then you will be mistaken.

As for Mustafi 'standing up to Wenger' - about what exactly.?

Monaco will get a huge profit, we will get egg on our face again.

I think Arsene is happy with monreal to be a CB, which is awful of him to think so, like when couple of season ago tried débuche at CB and it didn't work. Arsene becoming a "specialist" in playing players out of position. Unless he has something up his sleeves apart from his hand "steve" I think he's digging even a bigger hole for him self.
