WBA reserves or not, very good result taking this into the weekend can only be positive. Aaron Ramsdale was excellent on his debut, very good playing out from the back picking a pass and getting the play forward very quickly. Don't see many mentioning him much, shame, he performed very well.

I agree Ramsdale looked very good. I was impressed with both odegaard and Tavares, hopefully the new signings continue to play like they did. I really hope we sign a rb before the end of the window, also aouar would be a good addition. It’s a shame to see all the comments on Instagram about Conte.

My opinion is we need to give arteta 10 games to judge, then we should have had a varied opposition to make a fair judgment. Now he has got auba and laca back along with the majority of his signing available I think we will start performing. It’s going to be a hard game this weekend though!

But I don't disagree Nick, 18 months of non progress and steady regression is a very long time in football management, Mikel is a very fortunate man to still be in his job that's for sure.

He hasn't even been in the job for 2 years. I get not everyone was pleased with his appointment. I can't see any other manager who is available that would be better to manage us. Conte is spoke of but there is no way he would work with this board. Who else is there? Its clear what Arteta is trying to do and how he is trying to build his team. He is stuck with players that don't add anything to Arsenal. Players bought by other managers. Give the man time to build his squad and you will see the finished product. A few seasons of mid table finishes isn't too much to put up with. In 18 months he's already won an FA cup. That is realistically the only thing Arsenal are capable of winning these days if they're lucky. I don't understand what people are expecting. It was always going to be tough after Wenger, i'm sure Emery had a better win ratio than Arteta and look how everyone wanted him out. The Wenger days are gone, 4th place is miles off. We aren't going to get a new billionaire owner who pushes money through the door either so just accept that Arsenal aren't how they were. Its a new regime and that kinda thing takes time to settle. Obviously its only my opinion though, so if what i wrote winds you up, then toughen up 👍🏻.

Totally agree McCain, he’s tried with certain players to make them play the way he needs them to but you can’t teach a cat to bark!
Btw love you gastro chips mate just need to add 10 more minutes to the cooking time on the packet, they go lovely and crispy then 😜.
