If we're looking for a striker on the cheap - Samu Aghahowa of Porto. Seems to have a decent first touch and knows where the goal is. I wouldn't mind us taking a punt on him or players like him. Not every signing needs to be a marquee signing.

Ed001, have you seen this lad? What are your thoughts on him if you have.

My vote for (relatively) inexpensive striker goes to Franjo Ivanovic of Jupiler League's Union St. Gilloise. If for no other reason than Brighton are apparently sniffing around him, and we all know how many gems their scouting department has unearthed over the years. Any info on this lad Ed?
