Ornstein reporting we have agreed personal terms with Madueke.
I don't get it tbh.
Cannot see what he brings to the table.
Everything i have read or heard about him all ends with the same thing, he has a attitude problem.

Incredibly underwhelming news isn't it, starting to think Chelsea are blackmailing us into taking their rejects somehow.

Ridiculous and it's been quoted around 50m. not forgetting that'll push nwaneri down the pecking order.

I could maybe understand it if it was a bit of buisness we done after we got a left winger and cf in but I worry this is our winger signing.

I'm sure I read somewhere that Berta's strategy was to line up multiple deals - partly in case one falls through (sesko vs gyokeres, for example) but also as some kind of leverage against those clubs pushing for higher prices - so they hear we have deals in place for other players and aren't desperate to sign theirs.

I believe if madueke comes which i hope not, he is the replacement for nwaneri who if he fails to sign a new contract this summer, will surely be sold as he has 1 year left. Sign the ting nwaneri! Rodrigo is the replacement for trossard who may leave. Arteta wants 2 Brazilians on the left and 2 English wingers on the right all battling for gametime in a world cup year. hence the links to madueke.

I remember feeling that when Saka was injured Nwaneri was a more than able deputy and he scored and assisted at a good rate. Well on a trajectory to become next Saka. Keep him and spend the money on LW and striker. I said before Eze/ Martinelli Saka/ Nwaneri plus CF good to go and if flush buy LW and use Eze as LW and cover for Ode COYG
Noni - no thanks.
