How many of our players are going to the world cup, and will those not be going be given some time off or have to train all the way through the 6 week break?

Id imagine some time off 62, and then back in training with a few behind closed door friendlies to keep the match fitness up.

G62 looks like the confirmed list is Ramsdale, Saka, White, Turner, Tomiyasu, Saliba, Xhaka, Martinelli, Jesus and (probably) Partey. Basically the whole first team, plus our reserve keeper.

Looks like we have 3 friendlies planned (maybe with Barcelona among them) and the rest of the team will train in Dubai. Good timezone to be in if they want to catch the games or make day trips to see matches.

Thanks wire mate that's brilliant ? undoubtedly we are going to need the non world cup players more than ever once the season restarts so it's an excellent opportunity to work with them 100% so they are as able as possible to step in and step up as and when needed.

Unquestionably the WC players will need time to recover at some stage mentally as well as physically ?.
