I have to be honest, I am stunned Arsenal paid that much for him. Off course I don't support Arsenal and its obviously not my money but is he that good, where does that leave Leno and surely the money could have been spent somewhere else? Just my opinion mind, could easily be wrong like.

Not sure Rover, definitely a decent keeper in there, but is he confident enough with his feet? Leno will still be no1 this season i think. Although paying that much for a no2 seems abit ridiculous to me. Your definitely right mate, were desperate for a RB and potentially a striker.

Are you joking, this guy has some of the quickest reflexes I’ve seen for a long time and has made some phenomenal saves where he had no right to, plus uses his legs as well as his hands to block shots as well, he can be a little reckless at times but that will be eradicated with maturity

Happy with this signing if it comes off.

We don’t need another shot stopper especially if we sort defence.

Need someone who commands his defence, owns the 6 yard box, can actually catch, good decision making and good playing from the back. Everything I think Leno is only OK at best.

If we want a shot stopper - Leno is number 1 and we should invest elsewhere and stop playing from the back

Please tell me he’s more than a shot stopper or that’s more money invested poorly this season.

Board is certainly backing Edu / Arteta - no where to hide for either of them now. They decided on White. To not buy Bissouma, to get Ode etc etc.

If he improves us he's worth the money and if he doesn't he wasn't worth buying for £1.

Prices are irrelevant it's all about what a player does in your shirt, people said Lukaha wasn't worth the £80m United paid for him at the time while others declared Di Mari a bargin at £60m, let's Judge White and Ramsdale by what we see in an Arsenal shirt after 7 or 8 games.

To me it seems a strange situation. If Arsenal aren't happy with Leno then the should have moved him on and used that and the circa £30 million on Ramsdale to get the very best they could or indeed hang their coat on Ramsdale and have him replace Leno. To have both seems like an expensive luxury. Just my take boys.

So true Rover - perhaps selling Emi for 20m last season compounds the cluster xxxx that we’ve done now. But then look at Willian, Saliba, Granit…. we aren’t run well or managed well. Common sense isn’t in our dictionary.
