So it appears Sanchez agent is in Germany doing his best to line his pockets. To be fair, I'd much rather he went to Bayern than city.

In Sanchez's case, he just wants to win trophies. Yes, he will get paid handsomely at Bayern but his main motivation has always been trophies. As a LFC fan, I know how frustrating it is to lose your best players but u just got to deal with it.
Interesting to see how Arsenal do without Sanchez (he is worth half your team imo) . LFC suffered when we failed to replace Suarez adequately, and Wenger needs to use all his resources to sign some decent players rather than more Xhakas and Welbecks.

@Indian Buzzer did you really just try to make out like Liverpool have been hard done by in losing key players in the past? You realise you're on an Arsenal page!? Liverpool have lost two good players over the last dozen years. how many have we had poached or sold on for profit?

Sanchez can go if he wants, we'll find someone else. We always do.

Interestingly, Sanchez has claimed he is happy living in London, "I'd like to stay in the city but with a team that is winning things, that has a winning mentality".

So he's off to Munich then which is just north of Peckham.

gooner83, when u lost most of your quality players over the last decade or so, the club still had a solid team with at least 2-3 top notch players holding fort. This current Arsenal team is weaker than the previous teams, it lacks leaders and direction. In the past, you were in the UCL but now you are in the Europa. Wenger was still a quality manager 4-5 years ago. Now he has lost his mojo. Getting Arsenal out of this rut could take years if the right decisions are not made.
Take Sanchez out of that team, and who else would any of BPL's top clubs even want? Maybe Bellerin but he is probably off to Barcelona anyways. I'd take Koscielny to partner Matip, but none of your other players are worth wasting money on or the effort it would take to sign them.
I am not having a pop at your club, just pointing out that losing a player of Sanchez's calibre and no other world class player in your squad plus no UCL to back it up will be detrimental to building from the down up. Its a long process and a frustrating journey. Just because you found 'adequate' replacements in the past does not mean you will now as well. The competition has gotten fiercer over the last couple of years.
