ed forgive me for my nailvety but I've got to ask because he's a great player. a outbreak of reports in france say we have made a concrete bid for mbappe. Yes or no mate? Your probably laughing at me right now.

{Ed002's Note - I really don't know.}

100 million for mbappe, well i don't believe it till the extra pound has been mentioned. fabricated.

I'm sure MU had a similar amount rejected by Monaco I feel he will be a Madrid player either this summer or next.

he is 18 years old, the fee is insane, however i can see he is that genuine talent.

I don't think he will go to madrid and be the 3rd best player, and definitely not their best player, this year or next, obviously his option will be to stay at monaco as he gets gametime and champions league.

however monaco themselves would be shooting themselves if the player were to have an injury or has a off year, considering they are selling some of their best players, i don't think he will perform the way he did this year, and to get a fee of 100+ mill on a 18 year old is as big a win as any team ever will have.

I don't think man city will be an option for the same reasons madrid will, no guarantee of gametime from either team who will be chasing big trophies on multiple fronts.

Man utd, is a wild horse, money is not an option but again will they build a team around him like monaco has? i don't think jose will give him those assurances.

the only benefit that arsenal has for him, the pressure is on the manager to show his intent, a player like him will release some of that pressure, also with sanchez most likely leaving, building a team around mbappe is the way wenger will promise, he will get game time and as arsenal generally do, keep him around for 3 years and sell him for 200 mill. the only drawback ofcourse will be champions league. also arsenal will likely only sign 2 players this summer with the team only having its sights on the premier league. unless they start badly and then have to go the man utd route and try and get into champions league.

it will be an interesting summer. no players from the big teams have been sold, and surely they can't just keep acquiring without selling.

just realised

man city have gabriel jesus and aguero

Man utd have rashford, surely they will want a more experienced forward at this point? has zlatan left? looks like they are trying to get lacazette.

we have sanogo

chelsea have diego costa and are looking at lukaku?

im putting money on mbappe to stay another year. easy money.

Monaco reportedly declined €103m last week so, assuming all these reports are true we must still be smoking tge same stuff as when we bid for suarez if we think they're accept a lower offer than they've already declined.

it depends on the layout of the money surely.

103 or 130 whatever it was which might include a significant amount of addons to achieve that amount or 100 mill which might have been cash down.

for all we know it may not be true at all, but to dismiss it just as its lower is not sensible thinking.

if i offer you a tenner and a bracelet and wallet supposedly worth 10 pounds or someone offers you 18 pounds which one would you choose?

this has been an interesting day, some reports say its not us at all, and some say it is, right now i want ozil to sign the contract and then sort sanchez.

looks like ox is off to liverpool with macca saying so on the liverpool page.

Take your point Laker but in guessing deal structure, add ons etc would be similar. At the end of the day Monaco will look for best value and that's the bottom line so we would be lower.
