Ok, could be axomplete daft thought but I think Arsene is delaying an announcement on his future to allow another club time to agree a deal with him. That keeps any journalistic curiosity about the new club at bay. Downside is it leaves AFC in limbo unless they know and are also negotiating with somebody.
{Ed025's Note - my guess (and it is just a guess) is that he is getting involved in who will become his successor sooper, he will want the right guy as he still loves the club mate..

Just heard some pundit saying that a source within the club has confirmed wenger has already signed a new two year contract and the club are looking for a good time to announce it. He reckoned the recent poor form and fan reaction has made them stop and think
Then he went on to say that as it improve sensitive information the club would deny that anything has been signed as under company law it should be announced immediately
If this is correct and he stays he must change his ways and start to compete otherwise this could damage rhe club for years.

Don't shoot the messenger but just heard a rumour that ozil has rejected the new contract we've offered. Reasons range from it being a negotiating ploy to him wanting to go back to Real Madrid as zidane wants him back
If true then we have to put him up for sale this summer and the best foreign offer we get and then reinvest with additional funds to bring in 2 or 3 absolute world class players. Anything else would be an admission that Kroenke and Gazidis do not care about the club only about the money they can screw out of it.

I'm choosing not to believe this one until I see it, maybe more out of hope than anything. It's probably just his agent fishing for the best contract although I wouldn't blame Ozil for wanting more trophies out of his time at Arsenal.

Any agent worth his salt, knows that it pays to wait as long as possible before agreeing to a new deal. As the contracts for both Ozil and Sanchez go into the final 24 months, their value begins to drop and negotiation becomes that much more difficult. If we wish to keep the pair, we need to offer substantial wages of say £200,000 per week, to keep them at the club until they are in their early 30's.

Arsenal fans were kept in then a of a sudden the stewards vanished and tear gas thrown in amongst the arsenal fans. He said its boisterous but no fighting

Don't shoot the messenger here guys but I've just heard a rumour that, if true, reveals the true colours of Gazidis and Kroenke.
This is that, because we are unlikely to be seeded in the top pot in next seasons champions league and are more likely to draw a top club in the group stages, the board are planning to put ticket prices up by 8%
If true it proves that the board thinks nothing of us supporters and thinks it can treat us like insurance companies when the car insurance renewal is due.
We'll have to wait and see how true it is though

Just had the season ticket renewal through.
Face value £1014 less cup refund of £44 less £123 for failure to qualify for champions league and £250 from ticket exchange brought cost down to £597 for 19 league games and 7 European or f a cup games.
Know I hate kroenke but I love that season ticket more lol.

Linden conceded a pen in 2nd half of extra time and then, when they threw the kitchen sink seeking the equaliser they hit the crossbar and then Solihull broke away and got a clincher.
Nit result I wanted but to be fair Solihull edged it overall.
Son played well, one really good stop and got his fingers to the penalty but result was fair.

Ok, Terry Neill, Don Howe, Bruce Rioch, all got sacked for much less.
But back. then we were a football club nor the business Arsene and money grabber Kroenke have developed.
If Arsene is the man of honour I thought he was then tomorrow morning he will announce his intention to leave the club at the end of the season.
As for Kroenke. That idiot has systematically destroyed one of the greatest clubs in the world for his own ends. He must go too
Right now kroenke must be bricking it because he knows any new manager is going to want to spend to repair the damage and that's the one thing kroenke hates. He only wants to spend to get a financial return not to win trophies.
I also don't want Dein anywhere near our club. He was the idiot who introduced Kroenke and who is to blame for us being in this mess.

The one I work with predicted 5-0 tonight and basically told me I was an idiot when I said the baggies shouldn't be taken lightly as they know how to grind out games and as the local press ripped into them round here they would be up for tonight and it wouldn't be easy

Arsenal. have been in decline ever since that man got involved in the club. His sporting track record is awful as he is not a sportsman, he is a businessman. The prizes he seeks are return on his investments and not silverware sporting success.

Ed, spot on. Whether we like the fact wenger is staying or not it's a fact and it's happening. No point protesting, moaning etc. God job or bad, with or without sanchez and/ or Ozil we have to make the most of it.
My father in law gas a great saying-

We managed after Adams, after Bergkamp, after Henry and we will carry on after Sanchez and after Ozil.
If they want out then get the best price we can, reinvest that money plus any more that's available in the best we can get then move on and look forward.
