Hi Eds,
I remember a few months back we had an interest in Tielemans from Leicester. Does this interest still remain? Am I correct that he could be a free agent in the summer?

Would love it if it is true and that he made a switch as I have always been an admirer even when he was at Monaco.

{Ed002's Note - Youri Tielemans (CM) right now will not sign a new contract so will be available in the summer at a reduced fee if he doesn't change his mind. His agent confirmed that there is interest from Real Madrid who are looking for a Luka Modric replacement, interest from Spurs and that he has been approached by a third party representing Newcastle. He is aware that other clubs, including Bayern Munich and Liverpool, have scouted the player but not declared an interest. Interest of the Manchester sides has probably gone as both are looking at other midfield options. Arsenal and Juventus provide wildcard options but Arsenal will have to focus on fixing other issues in the squad first and Juventus, whilst needing significant midfield changes are looking to preferred options.

He is not a free agent in the summer.}

How often do we manage to poach a player Real or Bayern are after? Never would be my guess.

Hola a todos,

first-time poster but I've been reading comments on this site for at least 7 years! from The Raver popping in, to Exiled Clock End Gooner, to Malaga, G62, Sal, Epping, the list goes on, I've seen it all. Hell. I think I even wrote one message back in the day about Wanyama joining us before she went to Spuds! . that's saying something

Its safe to say I love this site and a Spaniard in Australia makes it all the better when reading the rumours and banter that's generated here.

Anyway. enough of the wishy-washy stuff, I for one cannot wait to see us take on Liverpool. If we truly stick it to them then this could really send a message to other clubs that we not only mean business, but our youth has what it takes to compete with the best. However, I'm predicting a 1-1 draw. Anything more from us and hell. you might find me on international news on the freeway (highway) being chased by cops with fireworks, a bottle of cheap us teachers whiskey and a Cuban cigar!

ps: no I'm not hammered right now (yes I am) but thank you to all the eds for the amazing work you for for us.

{Ed014's Note - welcome aboard Corbs!

Welcome Neighbour. Good to see you support Arsenal Home and Away. I have to say it’s a Country Practice to go on about food and to spend time with our Sons and Daughters, teaching them the history of our club and how great we once were. They probably think we are mad and will end up calling The Young Doctors to help us. Great to see you post and you love the sight, hopefully we make you feel at home. Coyg

What were your thoughts on Cop26? Local commerce needs fossil fuel but the damage of rising temperatures is dramatic on Australia.

Sharpe, I predicted us finishing fifth and even put a bet on it earlier in the year. Of course, I would have loved for us to get top four but hey. I can't complain about receiving a casual $400 extra in my bank account.

I see it like this Epping. The boys knew they had it in the bag so decided to take the pedal off the gas so to speak and save legs. Who knows - was this the boss's intention, or was this the squad's vision all along, knowing full well we have Spuds on Thursday night? The only other reason as to why I have this perspective is because we know full well our squad lacks depth - yes this is no excuse to drop our guard as we could have and should have easily tucked in 3-4 more goals, let alone not conceded the goal.
Only time will tell and I'm hoping I am right. I see us really taking it to Spurs but I am worried about Newcastle and Everton. An away game to a team that looks reinvigorated despite their recent defeat, and an Everton squad who will put it all on the line to avoid possible relegation.

I like him a lot and can definitely see him continue developing into a more prominent and proven goal scorer. I would like to see him score more goals that are not from penalties. how many from his tally this season are from the spot?
