I see ED02 say Arsenal are gambling on future player sales and champions league money to spend heavily do you think our board might go down that route after seeing just how poor our current team is as in buying both Dacoure and Allan for about 60-70 million which I don't think we can spend due out ffp issues cheers.

Nobel Prize winner Kary B. Mullis the inverter of RT-PCR test he himself said it cannot be used to establish an infectious process. The gold standard As applied to viral agents, “Koch's Postulates” for establishing causation require virus isolation from a diseased organism, growth of the agent in pure culture, and the development of disease when the virus is re-introduced into a healthy organism this criteria has not been met

Even though I'm a blue I tend to go through all the pages to see what other clubs are upto and Arsenal always baffle me now I thought they were financially secure they bring in a lot on money on match days and up until recently always had European football so can someone explain just what's gone wrong as reading the posts the impression I'm getting is you have no money to spend where's it gone.

I would imagine that paying for the new stadium had a huge effect on finances. In addition post the Dein/ Fiszman era, Gazidis and Wenger didn’t run the club well from a financial aspect. Failure to extend contracts, whilst giving other, often inept players, long term costly deals. As an example Ramsey left for nothing, whilst Ozil pocketed £350,000 per week. There are many similar examples at the club. In recent seasons we have spent quite heavily on purchases and wages, but sales have been relatively poor.

Hi mate, well we kept giving new improved contracts to players who were injured more often than available for a start, we then kept buying players who quickly depreciated in value once with us a few months many who ended up leaving for free plus we kept older Arsenal through and through players out of loyalty long long after sell by date giving then contracts when it was clear the 1 or 2 games a season would be their limit and any games they played would be cameo role performances, players like Arteta Carzola Mertesacker Rosiky were given jobs for the boys sentimental contracts because of thier popularity aposed to team value.
All of this goes a long way to explaining both why we have no money left and how the mentality of the players and and the whole club slipped into a cosy non competitive mess we were in pre Artetta the coach arriving.
We are all hopeful of a more professional and less sentimental Arsenal on and off the pitch in the coming years.

I would Just like to be clear and say I am still a fan of Caz Rosiky and all the invincibles and many other players from our past and I'm happy for the club to put together as many reunions and celebration party's to honour them as they care to throw as long as it's never ever again at the expense of the now or the clubs future.
We must keep sentiment and business very firmly apart moving forward, a time and a place for everything but never again at the same time.

ED02 wasn't Gabrielle's first choice Napoli has that now changed with Utd and Arsenal making concrete offers.

{Ed002's Note - Yes, he is flip-flopping between clubs. Hence Spurs deciding he is a complete flake.}
