City players showing their class once again with Haaland's goal "celebration" and Silva's comments after the game. They won't mask the fact they were humiliated though. You're playing 55 mins 11 vs 10 at home and you're being made to look very average. Yes they got their goal but it's quite telling we are the ones who are disappointed with the result and not them.

Early reports saying Rodri may have suffered an ACL injury. To be clear i don't wish for an injury for any player. But a sense of karma is strong here. Last season straight away after winning the title what does he do? Has a dig at their title rival. I do hope he comes back from injury though so that we can beat them while he's on the pitch.

How good can Liverpool be this season? It's early days but my initial impression is Slot may actually be able to improve them already on his first season. That would be a phenomenal feat given he's taken the reigns from such a great coach.

I like it, but if thay kicked out of EPL, he's off to Madrid.

Their arrogance and entitlement is surely some nice inspiration to win this league.

“Referee Michael Oliver did not issue a yellow or red card to Haaland after deeming it was not an act of violent conduct. John Brooks was on VAR duty and agreed with Oliver, deciding that a red card for Haaland was not necessary. ”

But taking your shirt off to celebrate a goal is a yellow card - throwing a ball into someone’s face after such a late goal isn’t an-issue. ?.
