I was having a think regarding our GK situation, and after the last 2 games, I think we can now finally put it to bed and admit Arteta has made the correct call.

As much as I love Ramsdale, I just do not think his skill on the ball is up to what is needed to play how Arteta wants.

Ramsdale has been fantastic for us and has made a huge connection with the fans and his passion has played a big part in making the atmosphere at the Emirates what it is now, and has made it very hard for us fans to see him dropped for me he is still a better keeper than Reya he can pull off the better saves without doubt but playing out the back is a huge factor to our success and we do it much better with Reya in goal and the way we are defending the saves are less important we are giving away very few chances so mistakes made from playing from the back are more important.

I still hope Ramsdale will stay and maybe get a loan move and improve this side of his game and become our number 1 in the future but this is maybe wishful thinking.

PS I think the rest the lads now have is going to be needed before the £ity game especially Ode what a player and captain lead by example all game and run his nuts of.

COYG.

{Ed002's Note - I cannot see a loan being a viable option. Raya to join, Rammsdale to leave and a youngster added.}

Sounds most likely Ed002 like I said wishful thinking that he will go on loan.
Anyone know of any keepers in youth/ U23 teams at Arsenal who could be ready to step up for the number 2 role I know Arthur Okonkwo if highly thought of at wrexham but not sure how good he is.

{Ed002's Note - Arsenal are looking to buy a young keeper and have already identified at least two options.}
