Such a shame what is happening at the moment. I think Arsenal could have been there for 180 minutes and not scored. The thing I am most worried about is that I predicted a 2 0 loss on the basis we can't put the ball in the net. If I can spot an issue, and I am not a professional, what is happening on the training ground?

I think the flood gates will open soon. You can see it’s obviously a confidence issue and everyone is overthinking and snatching at chances.

Goals flowed from all over the side last season but this is not the case this season.
Our main striker is like me, has dodgy knees. Eddie the back up is clearly not good enough.
The investment of 65million in Havertz is bewildering.
Last season Gabi and Saka use to drift into the middle, swap wings and pull defenders all over the place. Its stopped, and cannot understand why.
In a way you cannot blame Arteta because if we had taken our chances in the first half it would have been game over .

What i do take exception to is when Klopp changed his tactics and sent a rocket up his players at ht, we had no answer to it, no plan b.
Taking on board what Ed2 said about players will have to be sold to balance the books and make room in the squad, i cannot see any player or 2 in our squad that we could cash in on and generate enough money to buy a out and out striker and a lb.
I cannot see us buying any player tbis window who will have a true positive impact on the squad.
I am also beginning to wonder if the Ramsdale situation as affected the dressing room.

Bill I'm a Liverpool fan and not here to gloat but I agree with you - you guys were, in fairness, the better team definitely in that first half and could have been 2 or 3 up at HT.

Like you said, we massively improved after a HT rollicking from Klopp and some tweaks but the weakness for me in your team are ones that simply have not been looked at or fixed properly.

You guys are crying out for a quality striker - a prime Henry or even Giroud and you guys would be on another level. Honestly thought young Baloguan (spelling) would get a chance, he was tearing it up in the French league.

Apart from that I felt the keeper was an issue for you. Whilst Ramsdale seems popular he always seems to make a save for the papers rather than just doing the simple things like just catching it rather than the acrobatic finger tipped dived - was surprised to see you go for Raya, not the improvement imo and thought Martinez was honestly a good solid keeper.

For me, the funds spent then on Havertz and Raya could, and should, have been better invested in fixing those weaknesses

I got to say though, Rice is excellent - would look amazing in a Liverpool shirt lol.
