Missing out on the title last season wasn't due to scoring too few goals, and we've added a striker to the first team (Balogun) . How do we lack firepower?

It's more likely that Balogun leaves than stays Wire mate. He wants to play regular football and seemingly would rather not fight Eddie for the spot.

Also, he's our only realistic sale for a decent sum this window, especially now with Partey staying.

I may be a tad bit more optismistic but the club has been in this situation with flo since his youth team days. Some may say we are pushing our luck with him in these situations but the valuation of the club is spot on and it says they are not really looking to move him only if his valuation is met. Would it be too much to say he'll still be at the club when the window closes?

Not at all mate no. We need revenue though from sales though and he's our only real option of a decent sum. If be wants to go and someone meets the valuation he'll snap it up.

I agree Glenn, but he's still under contract. If nobody meets the valuation and the window closes, we're going to need to play him for everyone's sake. I can't see us getting a striker unless Balogun leaves and we have time to get a replacement.

Also FWIW I think some of our best football last season was with Trossard at false 9.
