I doubt he'd want to come mate, if he is available he will have lots of options, I think we will need to prove ourselves over a prolonged period before we can attract top players who are still in their prime.
Finishing top 4 would certainly help that situation, especially if we achieve it and then showed it real ambition to build on and improve on that achievement.

I'd definitely welcome Lukaku with open arms Banbury mate but as we can see he would not be lots of other people's criteria for a brilliant signing.

I personally don't think he will ever have to try and win the Arsenal fans who don't rate him over, my guess is his future lays at staying with Chelsea or moving abroad again.

Yep and they are both very good strikers, if you can do it at the highest of International levels the you can do it in the PL so why not Arsenal?

Olly had a 1 in 2 strike rate for us but sadly was so over worked he also had a availability rate of 1 in 2.

I'd have loved to have seen Olly play with a really good strike partner for us, if only Podolski hadn't been limited to the mobility of a giant oak tree that had been fixed to the ground with enhanced gravity glue.

Well yeah, pepe should put us off paying crazy fees for someone again. I got 100 mil because that's what Chelsea paid, give or take, can't imagine they would let him go for much less after a few months? He's pushed to leave every club he's been at hasn't he? Odds are he would end up doing exactly the same thing again.

I think his heart is somewhere else so wouldn't be a good idea for us. Arteta's right, we only need players who genuinely chose us as their next club.

I look at the work rate Laca gets thru and the experience and leadership he offers our team. Because he does it from the front - everyone sees and follows his lead.

He’s not the best striker but offers us a lot and fits Mikel’s set up - I don’t see him offering a 10th of the leadership or effort that Laca does but far far more goals…. The team is the sum of the combined parts.

I think he’s a better striker but won’t improve the team if anything weaken the team. Goals win games but only if the team is functioning.

I’d give him a miss as PEA has shown how a poor attitude impacts the overall team performance. There’s no way Mikel will manage him either….

{Ed014's Note - there’s literally no way the club would even look to buy him in my opinion either.
