Since around 2010 we have been a club leave to compete for and win titles rather than join to achieve those things.

Only players not wanted by clubs with genuine title and champions league winning aspirations have stuck around and enjoyed wages beyond their true ability.

Unless we change our approach then Saka ERS Marinelli Ramsdale won't stick around.

Well, I am sure at some point this season there will be a conversation between Edu and the Kronkees with Edu requesting permission to spend a large amount of cash to replace the departing Lacca.

They I am sure would ask why not sell Pepe, seeing as we paid 70m for him yet he sits on the bench. Otherwise sell either Partey or White, another 90m worth of assets.

At that point Edu will have to give the bad news that based on performances those 160m of assets are worth about 20m currently.

That’s when you will see a furious owner demand we sell Saka and Smith-Rowe. When you need cash, you have to sell your most valuable assets, and we don’t have that many.

Who’s going to want ramsdale 62? Spurs or maybe Everton but none of the other top 4.

Not yet Fuser but should he continue as he started at Arsenal the real top 4 will certainly take a good look at Ramsdale.

As for the other top 4 of Spurs and Everton well that would be in the other universe to the one we live in and if Ramsdale was to make the move from our universe to an as yet unknown that would make Neymar and Messi to PSG look as mundane as a gold fish swimmng from one side of the bowl to the other materials ????.
