We were unlucky to lose tonight, but this is a poor United team, they have some decent players but as a team they are incredibly average at best currently.

Our 8 game run was similar to the Emery 10 game run, brilliant if you those to ignore the obvious but if you looked at the bigger picture the question marks were plentiful.

We were lucky at the weekend against Newcastle - what did you really expect?

I thought we were slow and lacked ambition again today - lucky goal to take the lead but poor poor defending from White in the middle and poor defending from the left back. I’m not a huge fan of the right back as he’s clearly not a specialised right back but rather a defender who can fill in at right back. We play Elneny in the middle and Ode also.
When you look at our results they have papered over the performances - I’m still waiting to enjoy 90 minutes from a Mikel side. I’m still waiting for him to make a meaningful change in game.

We could still get top 5 but that shows how poor the league is as the gap between 3rd and 5th will be huge.

Was anyone really happy with the Newcastle game and expect anything today against a poor Utd side….,

We could just as easily won this game, should have had a first half penalty, Maguire om Tommy, he gets away with that in every game. On to Goodison, would be happy to see PEA benched.

The gap between the top 3 and the rest of the league is massive. The top 3 have good > 20, 4th team good 8, 2 teams are at 0, the rest of the league have a negative goal Difference. Maybe time for those 3 to join the Euro super League.
