Partys injury prone and I personally don't thinks he's that good.

Agree with you Mal. Partey when fit didn't uproot any trees did he. Haviing said that under Artetas tactics anybody would struggle.

I think we need another CM even if Party was fit and playing well. IMO they are the most important positions so two dominating players who complement each other would be my priority. If only there was another highly rated midfielder in the premiership, perhaps based around the south coast currently, who we could have signed.

John, Simone plays defensive football with 10 men behind the ball. I’ve watched quite a bit of him Spain and wasn’t overly impressed. He’s an alright player, but even Simone wasn’t hard pushed to give him a new contract.

Still they resisted selling him Mark mate, we had to meet and trigger his 45 million release clause in order to get him as Athletico refused to negotiate with us.

Doesn't sound like a player they wanted rid of mate.
