You can't just blame the gk he was outstanding in them teams and got player of the year at Sheffield why are people so quick go right the guy off I must be the only one happy we brought ramsdale.

{Ed014's Note - ignore him Stephen it’s only Shappy “I have no life” outside of talking bollox about Man Utd.

He occasionally makes attempts at humour and they just make him look more of a saddo 🤷‍♂️🤣

Both Bournemouth and Sheffield United stayed up comfortably the season before Ramsdale became the number 1 keeper both times.

He doesn't look like a number 1 keeper to me, fine as a backup but then seems odd to spend that much on a backup.

Each year without fail the sales of ice cream and the sales of sunburn treatment peak on exactly the same day without fail.

Who knew ice cream caused your skin to burn?

What's also interesting is that he's been player of the season for the last three teams he's played in - Wimbledon, Bournemouth and SHU. Perspectives mate! Glass is half full here.

I was just going to post the same Indiangooner. Funny how on social media we see the negative being shared more than the positive.

No one is writing the guy off, it’s just he isn’t good with the ball at his feet, so what’s the improvement he brings?

I agree Banbury mate, no one is writing the lad off at all he looks a fine young keeper, but the concern has to be that for all his attributes the area he really struggles in is the one area that Mikel insists he must excel in.

For me that is strange, unless Mikel is going to change his mind on what a keeper must do, and if that's the case then why not change his mind to accommodate Leno inability in this area?

No one is questioning Arons abilty here.

That's fair G63 mate. I think the 'young, experienced and homegrown' criteria in this case has superseded that of out and out ball control ability like that of Ederson.
Having said that if you look at his first interview he says that the reason he's gotten the POTY is because of his passion and that he leaves everything on the ground every single time - that's a very welcome attribute.

Also, he said he is very comfortable on the ball, even if he's not a finished article in that aspect - at 23, you would expect Arteta to make him better there. One can only hope.

Hi IG mate, I'm all for getting behind the lad 100% and accepting him for who he is rather than for what we'd ideally like him to be.

Saka ERS Martinelli Teirny all have weak parts to their game, otherwise they'd be perfect and worth £500 million.

For me it's simple, play to your players strengths not to their weaknesses or you might as well ask Auba to do for Arsenal what Kante does for Chelsea.

Ah right, the Gooners have sold their sense of humour to raise funds to sign a player who brings relegation to all his new sides😂.
