Defo bring back Saliba. Chambers for me first choice r/ b. Cedric is a capable back up. Hope to see more Balogun and Azeez. Neves is good but is a upgrade on Xhaxa. Odegarrd I am not entirely sold on, but would keep him on loan or sign him if the price was right.

Hansom Chambers and Elneny?
Who would have believed this time last year they'd out perform Partey and Gabriel?

Ok neither are going to have Real calling anytime soon but equally both have won most of us over during the last 12 months and again most of us are now happy to retain them in our squad for next season

Like with ERS Martinelli Saka, sometimes you already have some of the answers and you just need to take a breathe and notice them rather than always thinking the cheque book is the only solution to every problem.

I have always been a fan of Elneny G62. He is a whole hearted player, who runs his socks off and does a job for the team whenever asked. He cost us next to nothing when we signed him, and is an international. Is he first name on the team sheet, no, is he even in the first XI, still no, and certainly not when we play top teams, but yes against lesser opposition. People need to realise we need a squad, and sometimes the best player for that squad is someone who doesn’t throw his toys out the pram the minute he is not picked, and who does whatever the manager asks when he is. For me Elneny scores maximum points on both counts. I don’t think we will get better for the 5m he is probably worth.

Agreed Epping mate, every team/ squad needs someone who is happy to come in do the dirty work without ever getting noticed for it and is content to let others get the headlines, Elneny is that kind of player.

Xhaka and Partey always get noticed, but not always for good reasons.

Absolutely agree Epping mate. I love Elneny and he is worth way more in the squad than the money we will get for him.
