Personally I think we should have two defensive midfielders like the old days of Viera amd petit so I would like another solid partner for partey that would be a nice cover for the back four.

Couldn't agree more, I often see opposition players carry the ball from deep in there own half deep into our half with no challenge. I don't know why more teams don't do this against us.

Lacks - experience, role model and leadership though - perhaps an experienced Keeper and Right back would be good, ideally one of the CDs would have a bit of an Adams / Terry or Keown about him as I think we miss that leadership there as well as in CDM like PV4

Talking of Adams - did you see top 3 epl defenders. Rio, Terry and Adams

No room in top 10 for Keown or Sol but what a top 3 - all LEADERS and ORGANISERS. That’s what we miss rather than Arteta’s sideline 10,000 instructions

Need a goalie with a little Seaman in him also.
