We are a different animal when the effort is put in which does tend to coincide with Saka ESR and Laca playing and playing well. When you consider Auba Oedegaard Gabriel Sir Tierney Martinelli and Saliba all non starters this squad is top four quality at least. Great night and many more to come. Where are you Wilfred? COYG.

The questions never was should we have kept Emery only should we keep someone who is achieving even less than Emery did.

Definitely, Pepe has improved his performances as well. That's why it is all the more frustrating as to why we can't do this week in week out in the league. We will have our off days but there should be some sort of consistency.

ThTs my problem Gunner - Arteta needs to make it work not rely on the naive young attitudes of a few talent youngsters to determine how we play eg Tierney or Saka or ESR - Arteta has to get this out of the squad and against better teams than Prague. They were there to be exploited and Arteta should never allowed it to be just 2 all at home

Hi SY, they took out Leicester and Rangers mate and were extremely well organised at the Emirates.
We needed to be at our very best to get past them comfortably and we were last night.
Is this some huge turning point?
It would be nice but one excellent performanceand result is far from conclusive evidence of an Arsenal resurgence, but none the less it was a really good night for the Arsenal.

We can't expect that same level week in week out, it would be lovely if it happened but it's an unfair abd unrealistic ask of any team to maintain that level every game.
The Liverpool complete no show of 10 days ago v last night is a true reflection of Arsenal 2021 and the consistency level needs to improve dramatically or else it's all a load of potential that never amounts to anything meaningful, potential is word that's been over used as a cover up for under achievement at Arsenal for 15 years now and time for results not words to bring back the excitement.
Last night can be a new start but it also needs to be the last new start for this season at least, becasue I've seen 15 mile motorway tail backs stop and start less than us, and none of them were as frustrating as being an Arsenal in recent years 😂.

I should imagine the whole squad has watched the Liverpool defeat again and were probably just as embarrassed as the fans were disgusted- maybe it’s the shock treatment that’s needed, we shall see.

We'd all like to put that game behind us and move forward mate but only consistent performances and results will make that happen, lose against Fulham and it's back to same old Arsenal but win well and that's 3 good wins on the trot and momentum will build.
Consistent results and performances will win hearts and change minds more up one game down the next will simply convince people nothing has changed.
It's up to Arteta and his team to convince everyone, not just those who easy to convince.
