Compared to other managers who have recently stepped into new roles like Arteta did in Dec 2019. How are they doing and are they under other over achieving compared to our boy.

Rodgers, Ancelotti, Jose, Moyes, Potter, Dean Smith.

Are our standards and expectations lower than those clubs

Is the squad we have worse or the investment less

Or are they playing to their strengths better. I personally wouldn't put Arteta in the top 3 in the above list based on performances, how team players, good to watch or squad management.

They aren't all big names - we seem nervous about who could replace him but look who is doing better and i'm sure that should give us confidence, if you agree, to ask for change and better performances on the pitch.

Why nervous about who could replace Mikel mate?

Emery averaged 1.72 points during his 51 Arsenal PL league games.

Arteta is averaging 1.4

What are we frightened might happen if we let Mikel go?

How do you think Arteta has faired compared to them - Villa? WHU? Everton. Leicester - all similar time as Arteta to improve their team.

I understand your concerns gunner62 regarding Emery's and Arteta's respective points per game averages but it can't be forgotten that Emery's really flattens him. We won a lot of games under him despite clearly being the worse team, just look at how many shots we conceded against mid-table teams. If I remember correctly we somehow scraped a 1-1 draw vs Southampton at the Emirates despite conceding over 20 shots. The reverse can be said for Arteta in my opinion, there have been many games where we have been the better team but the result just hasn't gone his way. But I do agree with SY4 that other managers e.g Moyes, Rodgers, Ancelotti have improved their teams a lot more than MA has improved us in roughly the same amount of time and with the same amount of money if not less.

No I know your not afraid SY mate but why would anyone be? What is going to go wrong by letting Arteta go?
Surely no one thinks only Arteta is all that's protecting us from relegation and without him we'd be doomed 😂

As for West ham Vila Leicester Everton, thier squads are not close to being as good as us but their managers get more out of them.

Hi CB mate, your 100% right mate, Emery was lucky to get that 1.72 ratio as we conceded chances for fun and every game was a multi out of control shot swap.

But still his 1.72 was deemed unacceptable as was Arsenes who in the latter years had the same 1.7 something ratio so how can Mikels 1.4 be accepted as to precious to part with mate?
