To be fair - he has a great point.

What a terrible performance - why did the boss drop PEA for such a big game against a sluggish defence when we have nothing to play for in league. To drop him and play Willian who has scored how many for us

Great finish from Pepe - a fast player running in behind a slow defence. Sounds like a perfect opportunity for a top striker who has pace and likes to run behind. Surely no one would be stupid or stubborn enough not to play such a player? 🤷.

If one player deserved to be dropped it was PEA, he has be useless for weeks.

Ok, but you still need a decent fast striker to expose their defence. The decision Arteta made was not right as the execution was poor. All he did was show how stupid he is and that the team needed a PEA type player in the first half. Then he wonders why players doubt him.

Yes Auba has been far from good the past few weeks but tbf he was playing out wide on the left. He has shown this season that he is far more effective down the middle as he has a lot more choice in terms of runs. Down the left he is admittedly far too predictable and it is clear to see he is better at running away from defenders and in on goal than actually having to take on defenders. I really hope we start with the attacking 3 that we finished the game with (Martinelli - Auba - Pepe) as they showed so much more directness and urgency in 15 mins than the starting front 3 showed all game.

Agree Colney about Auba but surely Saka on right thought he did okay COYG.
