Am I a doom and gloomer thought Mark mate?
If I say we are 10th in the league and you say we are top of the table does that make you more positive 😎.

Cheers Banbury mate.

I enjoy being optimistic and positive as much as anyone else but I find it impossible to ignore what is and pretend it's different.

The optimist in me says Arsenal will come good again one day for sure but the realist in me can't yet see how that's going to happen yet.

But I am totally convinced that sooner or later someone somewhere will pick the club up by the scruff of the neck and get us back on track, why? Liverpool Leicester Leeds City and countless other clubs have gone into decline but at some point something has turned it around so why would Arsenal be any different and we are the only ones who don't recover and get back to our best again.

Genuine question! Obviously some on here possibly most think we have no chance in Europa, with derogatory comments but if, and in my opinion a big but not impossible if, we win the Europa League how do you celebrate? Is it wow how lucky was MA and or the players, we shouldn`t have won it, opposition were rubbish, the ref etc or would credit be given that we did well and deserved it? Or don`t / won`t you celebrate? Seems a bit pointless and soulless to celebrate a manager and team You wanted gone to me and all too logical which football has never been for me. COYG.

I will go mental

First European trophy since 94

Something Wenger never achieved.

Absolutely we should celebrate as it's a genuine trophy all be it not one of the games biggest, it's still not the community shield and it's a return to the ultimate European competition and both those things are good for the club so what's not to celebrate?

What I don't think is good or healthy for the clubs future is to pretend everything that's gone before is now irrelevant and all problems have vanished like magic Just because we rescued our season with the very last throw of the dice.

We did that with Arsene and the FA cup and 4th place trophy far too many times in the past.

Celebrate the good but don't let it camouflage the rest is my motto.

You never know, winning the EL could be the catalyst to much better things - stranger things, tall order but never say never eh?

Absolutely Banbury mate, it's impossible to know the future in any part of life let alone football.
Who'd have Liverpool would struggle to make top 4 this season after 2 seasons of 90 plus point finishes in the previous 2 seasons?

People assume Liverpool will be back to normal next season once injuries clear up but we Arsenal fans never dreamt for a minute the invincible season would be followed by 17 years and counting without another challenge for the title.
