Arsenal's midfield lacks a tall, strong and commanding box to box midfielder. Someone who is capable of allowing the players around him to play more freely and cover the back 4 but who can also create goalscoring chances going forward and is comfortable on the ball under pressure.

To all the Eds, who do you think would be viable targets for Arsenal subject to player sales etc?

Who would everyone else like to see us sign?

Isn't he an promenetly an attacking midfielder? And he's 5ft 8. I was thinking more of the Rabiot, Doucoure type player although I'm not saying it's them that we need to sign. Someone to play behind Kocku to allow him not to come back so deep. Something that Ozil and even our strikers have been made to do due to the weak midfield.

For ages I have thought Geoffrey Kondogbia is exactly what we need in midfield. Tall, good tackling defensive midfielder who pops up with the occasional goal and assists. Now we have no money we need a younger, cheaper version. Anyone have any ideas? I watch a fair bit of LaLiga and Celia Vigos Turkish midfielder Okay Yokuslu looks a decent prospect, and probably would be at the cheaper end of possibilities, especially if CV get relegated.
