Eds do you think arsenal would go for arteta as our new manager.

{Ed047's Note - I’d like to think not Stephen as I don’t think we are in a position to gamble and Arteta would be a gamble.

After the farce of taking on their alleged 7th choice in Emery where are they left to go.

Who were the candidates 8th, 9th and 10th on the list?

Hope not - to big a gamble. Rather gamble on Freddie but ultimately rather not gamble

Let’s start again and rebuild from behind the scenes forward, top to bottom.

I was just wondering as we don't seem to be near any one Watford have already got some1 in.

{Ed047's Note - as always in these situations there’s a mountain of misinformation out there Stephen.

One minute we’ve talked to the ex Valencia manager, then Vieira is a front runner, then we’re interviewing potential managers.

From there it goes to Pochettino is number one choice and Pep won’t stand in the way of Arteta going and if he comes Cazorla will be his assistant.

I don’t think anyone had a hint Emery was coming and I’m guessing it will be similar with the next manager.

But thanks for the reply.

{Ed047's Note - I don’t think I’ve given the answer maybe you wanted but you’re welcome.

First and foremost we need to find someone with a track record to suggest he can almost certainly keep this group of players from taking us down.
Secondly we need to find someone with that track record who would also actually take the job if it was offered.
Getting both of those things is looking pretty tricky right now.
Come May we can start again by letting players go and bringing in players who are new manager can work with but for now our priority is getting to May and still being a premier league team.
