Hello Ed002, Do you know of Arsenal have shown any interest in signing Gundagon from City as he's got only 12 months remaining on his contract. What are Arsenal's preferred midfield targets now that Europa seems likely. Thanks a lot in advance.

{Ed002's Note - Ilkay Gundogan (CM/DM) No discussiona about a new contract and could leave in the summer. Barcelona could add him to their list of economically viable options. I am not aware of any approach from Arsenal.
Looking at the list of midfield players we know Arsenal have been interested in, many can now be discounted with no Champions League.}

I absolutely love your work and respect everything you say, but let's not discount arsenal just yet (HAHA) , we all know Tottenham have another "SPURSEY" moment in them and we can grab champions league qualification on Sunday.

Having no champions league won’t effect who Arsenal target. The myth that top players only want champions league is absolute nonsense! If arsenal want someone they will get them.

It’s not what? Players don’t care about champions league football. Arsenal are a massive club in London with a huge pull. Vlahovic was nothing to do with champions league football. He always wanted Juve. Jesus will be a huge signing for us and he doesn’t care about champs league football.

Of course we want our clubs to play in the champs league but it’s BS to suggest that top players only want champs league. Money talks. I can guarantee Arsenals targets haven’t changed since missing out on CL.

Of course they don't 'only' want it, but they do obviously want it. Whether it's a deal breaker depends on the individual. Try not to exasperate ed002, pal, we need his crystal ball!
