Im a fan of Lenglet, not a fan of Neto or Coutinho. But, I don't think we need Lenglet at all. If Auba doesn't want to be at the club, or doesn't see eye-to-eye with the manager, sell him. Swap deals always seem weird. Invest the money in a new striker (no idea who at this stage mind)

Hi Ed how does a swap works exactly especially if one player is on a higher salary especially if no exchange of funds is involved? Is it just a bilateral loan where one club take the other player and pay his existing salary and vice versa?

Being honest Ed, I don't see who could buy him with the crazy wages the club provided. Not his fault of course, its the club who were daft enough to offer him such a wage, but absolutely limits his options. Barca's current position surely rules them out.

The whole coutinho swap with auba rumour confuses me (a common occurrence! ;) ) Wouldn't Barcelona have to reduce a lot more of the wage bill before being able to register a new player? I am guessing just coutinho is nowhere near enough to meet the requirements of the Spanish league.

One thing arsenal have lacked for a while is goals from players outside the box that aren’t the striker. Coutinho would add that threat you’d like to think though my gut is saying it’s another William case waiting to happen where we’re stuck with an aging player that’s not in the starting team.

I hear ya Ed. I really like Arteta and how he holds himself, but can you honestly say you can see an identity in our style of play? What I can see, correct me if I’m wrong, inconsistent intensity, very predictable plays out from defence which time and time again we get caught out and possession style that looks like we’re keeping the ball for the sake of it?
