Honestly, even if we did have the money for grealish (which we clearly dont) i think we need to learn from the pepe situation and not blow the budget on one player, too many positions in the squad need strengthening.

{Ed014's Note - thank god we don’t have the money for him!

Well if you are going to spend a lot of money on a single transfer, I think buying a player already proven in the premiership makes much more sense than blowing 70mil on a player who has absolutely no premiership experience and has given all his best performances in a weaker league.

We wouldn’t spend 70 mil on a championship player so why we did on a player from the French league is anyone’s guess. Man City won’t mind buying Kane and Grealish and you won’t see many say they have spent badly if they do.

Someone said that the brighten lad isn’t our number one choice would you know who is please ed.

{Ed002's Note - It is unimportant.}

As for Pepe, if he keeps up his current form into next season, he’ll be an important player. Easy to forget he came to a team that’s all over the place with no leaders for a record fee bringing huge expectation, for a manager that pulled him in and out of a team (which doesn’t fuel confidence) in a system the team weren’t getting behind. Not to mention had Bellerín behind him.

Ed, any scoop on if Arsenal intent to seriously push in the transfer market to close some gap? Also I like Martin Odegaard was the last to leave the pitch. Hopefully he feels a bond with the club. It’s the only way we’ll get him :D.

{Ed002's Note - I really don't understand the question. Arsenal will be both selling and buying in the transfer window. They know who they wish to sell and the have a number of targets. Odegaard was likely last to leave to pitch because he is so slow.}

Hoping there is plenty of interest in the players the club want to sell! Can see it being a long summer of nobody being sold.

Not a fan of Ode Ed?

{Ed002's Note - I have explained the situation.}

Hi Ed, I’ve tried searching but can’t find where you’ve shared your opinion on Ode - am I doing something wrong.

{Ed002's Note - You are an Arsenal supporter, I suspect you are doing many, many things wrong.}

Ed, I don’t believe I’ve been rude to you. I’m only trying to engage on a banter / rumour site and appreciate and value your opinion. Hence I asked and grateful for a reply
Very sorry if I did something wrong I wasn’t trying to annoy you.

{Ed002's Note - You seem to have an issue.}

Odegaard ain’t that good anyway, well not at this stage so I wouldn’t worry about him. He has his moments but is not the answer / fix to make us champion’s again.

The question was I suppose to rephrase; from players arsenal are interested in, would it suggest arsenal are intending to spend really big this window? Or is it spend what we sell?

{Ed002's Note - Clubs have to work within the FFP rules. Including Arsenal.}

Hi Ed, I am sorry but I really don’t understand your responses to me. You’ve just said I have an issue? I’m simply asking what’s your opinion of a player. You mention that posters are rude to you and I don’t believe I am. Your responses to me could trigger a bad reply but I’m keeping it civil as I respect your opinion and enjoy the sight. Please give me a steer as I’m clearly doing something wrong and I guess it may help others.

{Ed002's Note - I really don't care.}
