Hi eds can you shed some light on reports we've making a second bid for both raphinia and martinez from ajax
Is there any truth or is it speculation.

Raphina (RW) Deco is working with his old club Barcelona to see through the transfer. The issue is that Leeds want a single cash payment of around €60M but Barcelona want a lower up-front payment. Deco will offer him elsewhere but will ask for a "Barcelona" get out clause - one club has already rejected that. PSG were looking to Raphinha as one of their list of potential Di Maria replacements. The interest to Bayern Munich has gone. Interest of Liverpool would only be as an option to replace Salah and again they have not spoken with Leeds as Salah will be looking to run down his contract over the next year. Chelsea have watched Raphinha as they are looking to change wide players but an offer seems unlikely unless the request for the clause is removed. Arsenal and Spurs have both been approached by Deco and Arsenal have spoken to Leeds as they have a pressing need to add a wide player - but remain an unattractive option. Leeds will look to resist but if a really good offer were made from any leading club then the player would likely be interested in a move. Leeds will sell and have a replacement in mind. The player very much wants Barcelona.}

Hey Ed may i ask if there is any interest in Rob Holding and Pablo Mari (Seems like Udine won‘t buy him) ?
{Ed002's Note - Pablo Mari (CB) Has made it clear he wants to be playing. An initial loan to Udinese may have been made permanent at the right price, but that did not happen. Hellas Verona offer him an option as a starter - perhaps Milan as cover.

Arsenal remain an unattractive option? How? Raphinha will be an Arsenal player very soon. I've been told it's almost done!
{Ed002's Note - Arsenal are a poorly run club not in the Champions League. Arsenal have not submitted an acceptable bid, so it is not "almost done".}

Is your opinion based on edu and the hierarchy or on the ownership appointment of roles such as DOF or VP or the coach and his team strategy, would be insightful to get your thoughts if you can spare some time.
