Sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere, but I couldn't see it.
Is anybody able to shed any light on the Saliba situation?
Not registered for Europe, but not sent out on loan. Prevented from playing in the French cup final yet apparently nowhere near our match day squad?
He seemed to have a great reputaion in France and looked a decent player in the only pre-season game I saw him play for us. Considering he is being kept out by players who in my opinion are not good enough, is the issue attitude or playing abillity?

It's all the more strange that we have left him out but selected 5 goalkeepers for our Euro squad?

30m and an automatic starter for a decent Ligue 1 side, banished to the U23s. Could have gone to a bottom 5 PL team, or a championship team up until yesterday, could have gone back to France for a season. sigh. Meanwhile, Luiz with some abject defending again against City. Despite all the positive steps we've taken recently it always seems like a step back happens once a week.

Mikel and the coaching staff wanted him to spend another season on loan, but for what ever reason it didn't happen, I also read that he was not settling that well in London, cheers all keep up the good work ✌ï¸.

Spoke to a coach at Arsenal and he said Arteta doesn't fancy him at all playing out the back and in possession. If he doesn't improve he won't be playing in this team anytime soon. Arsenal are targeting another ball playing CB. in the next couple of windows.
