Morning Eds,
Is there any truth in the media reports that Arsenal are trying to work on a deal for Dominik Szoboszlai?
Many thanks.

{Ed002's Note - Dominik Szoboszlai (LM/CM) Ralf Rangnick will look to take him to Milan but RBS will not be happy, Milan has serious financial issues and the club may not be as keen as the new coach. PSG have permission to talk with the player and Lazio have a declared interest and at the right price RBS could take the money. The likes of Inter, Dortmund and Fiorentina have scouted him but it has gone no further.}

Brilliant cheers Ed. Do you expect Torreira to still to look to move away from Arsenal this summer? If he, Guendouzi, Auba and Mkhi are all sold then we should raise a good amount of funds to rebuild.

{Ed002's Note - He is down the list of Milan, so it is unlikely he will leave as it stands.}

Ok that's good. Arteta hasn't really been able to use him properly yet so if he can stay fit I think he'll play well under his management. Do you forsee just a few, or a lot more outgoings at Arsenal this summer? Thanks again, appreciate it.

Kocku has signed an extension on his contract, does that mean arsenal can strike him off the list knowing that Feyenoord will probably look for big money for him?

{Ed002's Note - Yes, scratch him.}

Thanks Ed. I’m assuming arsenal are only going to sign a replacement for Ozil when he eventually leaves, not before.

Ed thong you can share even more light on guadozi situation. He does look quite distributive in Training videos I've seen. How much you reckon Arsenal could get for him this summer? Which the financial train. Maybe a season or 2 loan out? Arsenal might be in a better place by then.

{Ed002's Note - Nothing has changed from what I said a few days ago. I cannot get at price but if Spanish or Italian sides bite then they will want to trade players.}

Hey Ed,
Great info coming from you guys, it’s much appreciated.
Is there any truth at all in the rumours circulating about a swap involving Guendouzi and Partey? I’d assume we’d still have to pay a fee but I’m just wondering what your take is.

{Ed002's Note - His representatives have been offering him around the major clubs and could well look to Atletico but the questions would be (a) money is tight in Spain and Atletico would prefer cash; (b) would TP be interested in moving to a club not in the Champions League?

@welshgunner, personally I don’t see it mate.

Granted he is still very young and still developing, but I just don’t see what his strengths really are. He is not and will never be a goal scoring midfielder. He is not creative, he does not draw opposition out of position to free up team mates and he is not incisive or attack minded with his passing. He cannot for the life of him head the ball.

He has very poor upper body strength and relies on drawing, often generous, fouls to get him out of trouble in personal duels.
He is not a box to box or what you would consider a dynamic powerful midfield player. He’s often casual and seems one paced.
He isn’t aaggressive or a tackler but more of a presser.

Occasionally he can intercept and do well in stand up dispossessions and he is good at managing and increasing the tempo of a game, or maybe it just looks like it because he plays alongside Xhaka.

For the pros he is enthusiastic and energetic but very casual and doesn’t smell danger until it’s breathing on him.

He could go in to be a very good player in the right team under the right coach and, critically, if he can find the attitude and temperament required to keep his emotions in check, but as iv said, for me I’m very very curious of how he has managed to obtain such a high opinion from so many whilst, realistically, not really proving himself strong at any one facet of midfield play, and certainly not consistently, in a mediocre side where it wouldn’t be hard at all to stand out if you were indeed as good as the hype that surrounds you.

For me, he’s certainly not what’s required right now for this current Arsenal set up to improve as required. Cash in on the hype and invest in a powerful dynamic midfielder who’ll want to prove himself and play for the shirt.

I’d be amazed if Guendouzi goes on the get 20 caps for France at senior level.

He is frequently losing the ball cheaply in the wrong positions. perfect arsenal player in truth. There's some potential, sure, but I really don't see him making it.
