Ed I know you don’t do blow-to-blow updates but do you expect arsenal to bid for him especially knowing that we are approaching deadline day and teams usually panic with how much they spend.

That stuff don't happen on ere anymore does it? I think I can savely say on behalf of most of us, you guys (the Edwards) are the only thing that makes us return, saying that I'm always anticipating the next essay from rg61 or whatever he's calling himself these days, to give us peasants a footballing lesson every now and again. I think your probably right about the CB and LB mate and I totally agree it's up to Emery 100% now.
As for him surprising everyone? I really hope so mate and if he does i won't be shy in eating a barrel or 10 of humble pie on a daily basis.
I just can't see how his lack of appreciation for the defensive side of the game can possibly work over an entire season but then again I never ever thought Trump would ever get elected, Britain would vote leave or Boris would become prime minister either, so I'm far from always right in my opinions mate :-) .
