It’s so depressing that our negotiators seem so poor. The two signings that should happen this week, Ceballos and Saliba are also tainted. Saliba an 18 year old costing somewhere between £25-35m, doesn’t arrive this season and Ceballos is only a season loan deal. If Celtic want £25m up front for Tierney, this should be possible for a club of Arsenal’s size and wealth. Unless we make the 4 signings touted, then we are going into the season with a weaker squad than last season. Zaha and Tierney would have excited the fans. Let’s hope things start to happen as the window nears its end.

speaks volumes about Arsenal's current ambition when they can't even buy a celtic LB. I mean, the deal could still happen, but the fact is, it should all ready be done.

Relax guys, all will be revealed soon enough.
Ed has pointed out where there is interest. Whether or not this is a PR tactic to speed things along, or if we have really ended our pursuit and switched targets will be confirmed in due time.
Only a couple weeks left to finalize deals, we'll see some action soon.

I agree with AA only two weeks to wait for all to be revealed and no point in trying to second guess what will or won't happen between now and then.
It's down to the management and board who they do or don't sign and good or bad the results of thier decisions will be revealed soon enough too.
Go to Newcastle with next to no new players and win and there will be breathing space for sure but lose with the same players and same tactics and the pressure will be on from day one.

Ceballos is a season long Loan with no option to buy for a fixed price next season. The player is choosing Arsenal due to gurantees of being a key player for Emery.

The Tierny deal isn't dead there will be a third bid this weekend. The media are just creating stories. A bid will be made for Zaha this week as well.

I think both are done deals in the waiting and it's only the horse trading of the clubs on how money is paid that is to be decided.
With Zaha it's a little more complicated because it will involve player exchange of some kind but I definitely think both Zaha and Tierney deals are already agreed in principle.
Just my view because I don't take anything the popular media say seriously I just try to put the pieces together that we all know for sure and Arsenal havd been talking to Celtic and Palace all summer and to the best of my knowledge continue to do so, I doubt very much they are just enjoying each others company and taking about Brexit and the lovely whether.
