Hi Eds,
Lots of chatter in the papers re. Aubameyang and Man Utd - surely this isn't serious? Can you shed any light on this rumour or if he is likely to go anywhere else?
Also, Ozil and Mkhi, are we anywhere close to finding a new home for either or both?

I think Auba to United is fake news, but we are reportedly having trouble attracting suitors for Ozil and Mhiki due to their inflated wages and their age.

Ozil on £350k, PEA £200k, Mhkit. £180k, £100k for Kolasinac, Mustafi at £90k, Chambers and Elneny at £50k, Jenkinson at £45k.
There is a lot of waste.

Who would match those wages that Alex quotes even if we gave all those players mentioned a free transfer?
As unpalatable as it is we may have to subsidise these players wages at a new club plus give them away on a free to part company with them should we chose to do so.
If Alex figures are correct that's 50 million a year on players we don't seem to want, surely it makes good business sense to cut our loses as much as possible and make a fresh more sensible new start.
