I am completely blank, no argument, no logic, no words. There isn't going to be any change no matter what we discuss and argue here, the club is reducing to mediocrity.
But I think yesterday's loss is to be blamed on the kitmen, they left Laca and Auba's boots in Valencia.

Agree1 Disagree1

Why o why play ozil in this game. He offers nothing in big matches. I’m not saying that he’s to blame as I can’t remember him making many if any mistakes. HOWEVER. What did he actually create. He’s our assist master, top earner but has only managed 2assists this season with the most clinical forwards in the league. and if you compare him to Chelsea’s number 10 hazard, they’re leagues apart. Ozil does get a lot of stick but end of the day, he wanted to be the clubs top earner and that comes with a level of responsibility. Because of his wage demands, we’ve lost Ramsey who does perform on big occasions.

{Ed001's Note - Ozil and Ramsey were unconnected. Ramsey left because Emery did not want him to stay.}

I was under the impression Ramsey saw himself as a vital member of the squad, just as important as Ozil and wanted the to match closer to our highest earner something the board couldn’t afford. My mistake tho on that front if Emery just didn’t want him.

Ed001 if true that would be a huge kick in the nads. The line fed to the media was that Ramsey's wage demands were extortionate and that's what we were all led to believe.

{Ed001's Note - no it wasn't. The line fed was that Emery felt there was a problem with Ramsey and he didn't want to keep him. Nothing was said about money, people made that up in their heads.}

Letting Ramsey go wasn't the problem but letting him go for free was the problem.
He's a very good player when he plays for the team but he doesn't always do that and he's only ever available for 40% of games each and every season.
It's easy to remember the good bits where he was a hero ( there were a few no question) but equally he had some pretty poor displays too where everyone moaned about him, then there is his injuries each and every single season where he misses at least half a season each and every year bar none.

Despite the whole team being poor, i am flabbergasted why more people are not absolutely furious with Ozil. As usual, in a big game he went missing, so much so that he wasn't worth the plane seat to get there, and then, in a final, he sulks off (very slowly) when rightly substituted, which was clearly all about him, not the team, or score, or occasion. An absolute disgrace, and i hope he never plays for us again.

Not Ozil or Ramsey related. I for one was getting rather excited about the prospect of Zaha. What’s the situation with that now? Papers are claiming ‘it’s dead in the water’.

No way for me to know personally, but Raul Sanlehi did mention that AR8 received offers from elsewhere that we couldn't match. There was a hint that, had other contract negotiations reached different conclusions, we may have been in a situation where we could have made a better offer to keep AR8.

Regardless, I wish him well in his time at Juve and beyond.

I agree AA mate, I wish him well too and personally I think both he and us will be better off apart than together.
We need someone who is fit for more than half a season each year and he needs the expectations of fans who are used to success on a very regular basis.

@gunner62 kind of harsh assessment on Ramsey - since the start of the 11/ 12 season he's played 228 out of 304 premier league games for Arsenal, 75% across 8 seasons. Even his lowest appearance seasons he featured in over 60% of the games (13/ 14 and 16/ 17, both 23 apps out of 38) .
