I understand why we all hope for excellence from our player's and team each and every time we put other things on hold to make the time to watch them play. But in reality we all know its impossible for any player or team to consistently fulfill all our hopes of them.

On those days when the team can't be excellent i think we have to console ourselves with the fact they are constantly doing enough to meet our basic requirements, our team is definitely doing that for us 👍.

I'd like more goals but I'm definitely happy with the clean sheets and the 3pts that keep coming coming our way right now 👍.

I think he's actually a lot better than a lot of people realise he is mate. I was very skeptical about him and feared we'd fell into the same fan pleasing trap we fell into when signing Pepe.

But the more I see of him the more convinced I am that he will prove to be an excellent signing and even the most sour of limeys will grow to be completely fruit and nuts about him 😊😊😊😊.

A good win against a tough Burnley side for you, Gabi. I'm more chuffed that my team won last night too, to put a stop to the atrocious run we had going. Just a shame that United scrapped through with a draw otherwise it would have been a perfect night of results ;)

Unreal how quickly things have changed. The guy wins the league and everything from his tactics to press conferences are praised. Now they are having their first difficult period and he can't do anything right.

There were already massive holes in their squad last season. The key players were well past 30. They lost one of their most important creative players. They won the league which usually makes it difficult to motivate players the following year. They have had more injuries than last season (thought they were rather fortunate with them last year to be honest) .

It was always going to be difficult for Slot but i expected him to have a bit more credit in the bank.

Evey club that's ever achieved great things has always experienced tough times eventually, Arsenal, Liverpool, United, City, Forest, Derby.

The only way to totally avoid the inevitable lows is to totally avoid the wonderful highs, as Rochdale, Hartlepool and Tottenham have always done.

I know not everyone was happy with the line up before the game but it worked out brilliantly as we are through and our usual starters had a break. Palace will definitely be hoping Miklek takes the same approach against them in the quarter finals.
