I see that I've upset some people with my opinion of changing manager lol. To clarify, I understand why many of you want him to stay but you must see there are also reasons why it could be the time to go. Like I said on the live chat, given the amount of injuries this season, he probably deserves a LAST chance. But come next season, regardless of any excuses, he needs to win the premier league or champions league, and if not, it should be time for him to move on. It doesn't have to be a "nasty" sacking, it can just be an agreement that we are looking to get over the line and a new voice can help with that. That would be 7 years in the job which no other manager gets at any football club.

I would agree to a large extent but these things are not always as clearly cut and dried in reality as they are on paper.
What if we finished level on points with both City and Liverpool next season and finished second by virtue of scoring just 1 goal less than the winners plus lost in the Champions league final on penalties after extra time. Would he still have to go because we said back in May 2025 he had to?
If we were to finish as far off the pace next season as this season then yes it would be time for change but like everything else in life nothing should be absolutely set in stone with having the full picture available.

Dag why do you compare us with other clubs! Maybe our board aren't like other board members! So let’s say your dream comes true and he’s sacked at the end of the month, who comes in that you won’t want sacked after not winning a trophy in his first year! Because unlike arteta whoever comes in has a very strong team arteta had to rebuild the entire squad that’s doesn’t take 1 year! The difference would be who ever came in has a better team than arteta did and those are facts, I’m happy with arteta I’m an Arsenal fan.

I compare us with other clubs because we compete with other clubs, that’s a bit of a ridiculous post. If you compare managers and players then obviously then you compare clubs. Regardless, nothing is wrong with my original post. I go to the home and away games and I can say for a fact that it’s slowly getting toxic again and it’s because fans are not happy with the football on show, not winning trophies and paying expensive tickets. And I 100% agree with these people, there is nothing “wrong” with that opinion, nor is there anything wrong with yours. Doesn’t make me more or less of a fan, doesn’t make you more or less of a fan.
