Well done Forest - I'd swop your season for ours. Exciting league, above expectation and Wembley semi final ????.
30 Mar 2025 14:00:18
You'd swap 2nd place for 3rd place and Champions league quarter final against Real Madrid for an FA cup semi final?
To each their own I guess.
31 Mar 2025 00:48:52
Yep, another truly embarrassing post.
31 Mar 2025 08:47:10
I just don’t get sy, why would you post that?
31 Mar 2025 11:25:48
Promoting others and putting down Arsenal at every opportunity he can possibly create for himself is the rabbit hole Sy has gone down Mark mate, unfortunately I don't see him escaping from it until Arteta goes, he's in way too deep now ?.

And its "swap" :)

Evening Gents,
I’m sure the Forest Fans believe their season has exceeded their expectations and our is well below expectations. I’m sure the ride has been more fun than our season. They’ve played attacking football and out performed in the league. Sounds like a more fun season than ridged defensive play, not addressing glaring issues in the squad and finishing far higher than they would have ever expected. Go take a straw pole of feelings in the Forest camp Vs ours. Do 40% want their manager gone? You keep posting only one team would switch with us. Newcastle, Forest and Liverpool having a better season and based on expectations - a few others. Ask Newcastle fans on the parade at the weekend…. you clearly don’t care about winning the league but “competing” and “trying our best” - so why do you care 2nd or 3rd. Performing better than expected is a huge buzz. Sure you can’t argue there. Winning a Cup is a buzz. You could argue there may be. So based on that your idea of only one team having a better season isn’t accurate and flawed.
If it’s just about the EPL : agreed. But surely you can’t say that when you aren’t having a dig at Arteta for not winning it in 3 years. Or that 2nd every year is okay even if not competing….
It was poorly worded after a few white wines but I’m sure Forest and Newcastle fans are buzzing more about their season. I’m looking to next year hoping things get addressed and changed for the better.

The gift that keeps on giving!
Newcastle in 6th with their prestigious carabao cup are having a better season now too? Aha.

Let this be a warning to everyone everywhere SW, don't follow the White Rabbit whatever you do, it's a one way ticket once your down that rabbit hole.

I can see what Sy is trying to say, even if I don't agree, there fans are prob more excited about their season than most arsenal fans.
But also, Sy it depends on your expectations, I guess, I don't go into any season expecting to win something, but the minimum expectation is to be competitive in the major ones.
The room for improvement at most clubs is a lot larger than at Arsenal currently, To have a better season than we have had last few years is 1 place, and that's the hardest place to finish in the league.
the FA cup should have been a bigger ambition for us this season I believe and we went out on a very poor performance. but I would not say this season has been a failure either.
Yes I want us to win the league, and that has to be the aim each season but not the expectation.

Hi Hampshire mate, Forest fans were happy to avoid relegation last season and if you asked them in August if they would be happy with Europa Conference league place finish this season I think most would have snatched your hand off, but now! If Forest finished in 7th place would Forest fans be so happy? I think not. Newcastle fans are currently enjoying their first domestic trophy for 70 years and Eddie Howe is the king of tyneside, if they were to win nothing next season would king Eddie be dethroned? Quite possibly. In 2015 Leicester fans were delighted to escape relegation by the skiin of their teeth and 1 year later they were celebrating being the most unexpected champions of all time, 6 months later the manager who delivered that amazing little win was sacked.
Once hopes turn into expectations it's very dangerous territory for all concerned and once expectations turn into demands it's the beginning of the end no question about that, Chelsea, united and others are currently still struggling to come to terms with the results of the demands they have placed on an endless list of managers, and counting.
And when demands turn into absolute obsessions, well that's when you've well and truly gone to live amongst the????.

Thanks Hampshire - 62 you stick up for a manager who has won zip in 3 years. You continually find a silver lining in a blind stubborn manager yet mock someone who dares challenge that he’s not got the horsepower, attitude, vision or tactics to win the league. Plenty people are seriously challenging Arteta’s capability as a manager and rightly so.
I don’t get it - I want the club to be successful. He’s shown he bottles it. Do you want to risk another 300m on him? I
I haven’t heard anything from you to support him except he’s improved the team. I saw what - 40% want him gone?
The real question is can he win the league. Answer that question please and why as he’s had chances and bottled it.
If you just want the players to try hard. Great, not much point debating.
The last manager got the team trying. Arteta improved on that but he’s not taken us to the next level. He’s not addressed issues. He left us exposed by selling attacking options and replacing them with defenders / fullbacks. Not having good enough back up and not getting a striker. He does not manager us like we are a big club and wants to avoid defeat rather than insisting on trying to WIN. In my world - winning is the name of the game not trying / taking part.
I get I’m annoying but so is all the BS about being proud because the players tried. Or the Arteta knows best crowd one minute saying we are competing, then we are not just to support not signing a striker in Jan window. He literally can’t do any wrong and anyone who dares criticise him are fools, entitled, know nothing and childish. What a load of crap. We criticise like numerous people, Pros and pundits because they don’t feel he has it in him to win the league, stubborn, and not addressing what’s needed or
Earning from the past.
I’m not I. The rabbits, I’ve not lost it. I’m happy. Got a great life and family. Love the club and have high expectations. I’m opinionated, often wrong, stubborn and enjoy a bit of frictional debate. I can’t stand bottlers or not wanting to improve or people that post rubbish to try to make people look stupid. Plenty do it on the site and plenty jump on the band wagon.
I waste too much time on the site, post too long and repeat myself. I get it. I’m sorry . It’s because I care about the club and the feeling I get from seeing the club / players or managers doing well. We are a great club and should have high standards.
Hope you and Mal and SW etc have a great week I hope we win the Champ league and you can mock me. Ed can mock me . I’m fine. But it won’t change that I want the club to win.
Sorry and let's stuff Real.

I think Sy4 new name should be roger rabbit.
02 Apr 2025 23:44:03
It's not that we won't accept criticism of him, but that this witchhunt becomes a little repetitively tedious.
If we finished 6th with only a league cup to show then I might, further context dependent, be calling for him to be sacked - hence the banter on the banter page, cheer up!

Sounds ideal to me Mark, especially given Rogers new found love for the toon.
