Seen the highlights and Athletico were tad unlucky so I think over 2 legs we are in with a shout.

I watched the Madrid game because we have Spanish students staying with us
I didn’t see anything special from Real Madrid
Very open at the back and attack very stale.

Hi Mark and Bill. I've seen Real look brilliant and I've seen them look very average under Ancelotti but they almost always seem to do enough to win when it matters.
I'm not trying to talk us down or over inflate Real to save our possible blushes but we only have to look at their record under Ancelotti to see that just like every other team in Europe we are second favourites v Real, that doesn't mean its impossible by any means but City Liverpool and lots of other big clubs who are absolutely flying at home and in Europe suddenly find Real Madrid are that one hurdle they can't quite get over.
Head to head tasks don't get bigger than this, that's for sure. Up The Arsenal ?.

All we can do is our best and get after them. We have nothing to lose so pressure is off against them - just enjoy the spectacle and hope we do ourselves proud.

Strange that Real get the 2nd leg at home even though we finished higher in the league stage. Surely finishing higher in that should give you some kind of benefit in the knockout stages.

I think being at home in the first leg might just work in our favour. If we can to take a goal or two lead into the second leg we know we are very good defensively and also pretty good on the counter attack too. Just a thought ?.

I have waited a long time to be in this position challenging some of the biggest teams in world of football. Unfortunately due the circumstances we find ourselves injury I don't hold out much at the moment but hey I do believe I miracles and you never know. aslong as we give it a good go and put a fight I will be happy.
