Hi ed14, I didn't realise what a bad state United are in off the pitch as well
People complain about josh and Stan but they know how to run a club.
{Ed014's Note - Hi Mal, they really are in a mess and I don’t think SJR is the man to make things any better.
From what I’ve read recently his business isn’t doing that well either.
They’ve wasted an incredible amount of money on one terrible player after another. Not only are they poor players, they have horrendous attitudes too.
What was all that fuss over getting the guy from Newcastle and then binning him off a few months later.
No rhyme or rhythm to anything they do.
They play like relegation fodder week after week.
Amorim must have been off his nut to take the job. Getting rid of pretty much all of that squad is a must.
That was the best thing Arteta and Josh did from the outset, was to get rid of so many poor players with poor attitudes.

Hello Ed
When you put all them things together they are in serious lumber.
I don't think there's any player their atm that would even make Fergies bench.
{Ed014's Note - I think they’re fortunate Bill that both Southampton and Leicester are so bad, Ipswich could potentially put a run together and if United don’t get there act together fairly quickly, who knows what trouble they could end up in.
The Glazers saddled them with a huge debt when they first bought the club and I’m not certain that hasn’t just got bigger.
Their Edu equivalent was an Ed Woodward and he sanctioned some horrendously expensive and terrible transfers. His replacement obviously hasn’t done any better.
Spending £70 million on Casemiro was madness, without the Sancho, Anthony, Hojlund, Yoro, Zirkzee, Pogba, Varane, De Ligt, Maguire, Dalot, Van de Beek and so many more crazy purchases.
We’ve bought a few duds, but nothing like the scale they have.

Hi Mark, I just don't get recent criticism of those who run our club, I think they have invested heavily without throwing good money after bad as some other clubs such as man United have done. There have obviously been mistakes made in the past but I personally think Arsenal are a pretty well run club with right now.

Spot on John mate
Stan and Josh are very successful businessman in their own right and have backed Mikel in the transfer market. Some of the off field sponsorship deals in the early Emirates days were not done in the best interests of our club I seem to remember reading some time back. Josh has bought a lot of business sense to the club and seems to have a bit of rapport with the fans which other owners of other clubs don't seem to have Wasn't always a fan of cash laden billionaires coming into football but to be successful nowadays you have to money behind you.

Hi Bill i wasn't a fan of the billionaire owners either mate, but the game has become much more financially driven over the last 20 odd years with many young players now becoming millionaires at little more than 20 years of age and clubs spending 100s of millions on players they hope will bring them success on and off the field.
Long gone are the days of top players becoming pub landlords or insurance salesman after they've dropped down through the leagues until finally age forces them to retire from the game.
Like everything else it's tough trying to swim against the tide of change and if you are not going be swept away by it then you simply have to adapt to it.
The Kronkes have made mistakes in the past but who hasn't? I now think they are now running the club really well even if they haven't quite mastered the art of pleasing all the people all the time just yet ?.

Don’t think you can really complain about the Kronkes. May be the Euro League thing was a PR disaster but they’ve invested a lot into the club, some great commercial deals have been done, brave to bring a young manager in and stand by him. I think they’ve done great. I hope they are looking at this season to see where we could have prepared better and I really hope they ask Arteta some tough questions. I hope they have the ambition to win the league and prepared to make changes if we fall below those standards.
I’m happy with them. How they react to this year will determine how happy I am.
