Sorry HB but when you take 100 passes to get to the penalty box, pass back, pass back to keeper before attacking. It’s easy to defend against. We made them look good as we offered no pace, no ambition, no forward play, no bottle, no intensity except for about 5 minutes. The boss did nothing, the players nothing and we didn’t get the win we didn’t deserve. A limp pathetic display showing the glaring holes in our attack and squad outside of our top 8 players.
The boss did nothing to change that during the game. We don’t behave like a big ambitious club with title intentions.
This isn’t an overreaction to one game plus we are quite boring to watch in the last few games. We have two options to score - Corners and Saka. We need to wake up the spirit from last season. The gap is growing and we fail when we are under pressure . Come on boys - let’s put it in and turn it around. We needed a long winning streak not draws.

We had the same problem as England in the euros - no width on the left. I'd like to see Tierney get some minutes.
{Ed025's Note - your left side is awful Iceman, Martinelli is a one trick pony, Trossard is a pony with less than one trick, they can produce the goods now and again but no consistency at all im afraid mate, Kai is very similar and should have been upgraded 2 windows ago for me, this season was a great chance for Arsenal to become champions imo, but like Monica Lewinsky...i think you may have blown it..

Ed i think Calafiori fixes our left but he's missed quite a few games already. Martinelli's one trick can be effective when properly platformed. He needs someone to provide an overlap.
{Ed025's Note - but Martinelli he can only play for half a game Iceman, hes either pulled at half time or brought on for the second half and that gives you no continuity at all mate..

I think if this season ends badly then question marks over this summers transfer window will be asked.
Everyone could see we needed to upgrade the left side of attack, and we needed a back up to Kai. Also letting esr and Viera both go before Nwaneri was ready to fully step up was a big mistake.
We have nothing off the bench in attack which means I think we will fall short for the league.

Hi Glenn - Viera is another dud bought by Arteta. We have too many similar players who don’t offer consistency Trossard, Martinelli, Kai, Jesus - add a lot to wage bill but limited options. We continue to use Saka. It’s Saka or a corner. We are boring to watch at present. We offered zero threat today and played at a snail pace.
It’s been the winter window we did nothing, a crap summer when Kai signed and nothing this window yet some are happy to wait for the right player.
Wenger was at his best when he was always adding to the squad and being ruthless. We need to learn.
This melodic one paced football where we play 100 backward and sideways passes is boring, easy to defend against and predictable. Our manager does little to change things up in game or at halftime - yes we have injuries but a bit of urgency and intensity wouldn’t go a miss.
We have too many players who play several positions. Players who move from their purchased roles into a weird fullback which means we don’t really have proper fullbacks.
So frustrating as we should be in a better position - if money was tight. Why waste 65m and 250 to 300k PW on Kai. Get a bloody striker and sell Jesus if need be. Get a decent winger on the left - our left side is terrible.
How long will Saliba, Gabs, Saka, Rice, Ode - our stars - put up with no silverware?
White, Kai, Martinelli, Trossard, Tommy etc may be happy not winning medals but if we want a top striker then we need to be a better proposition and create chances also
We have not pushed on really and are more boring to watch now
Hope injuries sort themselves out but that doesn’t help our attack - if we didn’t need a goal threat or winger then why panic with Sterling move. We did need it but weren’t decisive this window or last.

Very disappointed not to win the game, overall we absolutely dominated the game from start to end, we did all the things that we wanted to do during the game and unfortunately we concede one goal in one shot but the way the team played, the way the team wanted to win, it was unbelievable and very unfortunate for millimetres to win or don't win in this league and that's the disappointing thing tonight.
